Best game of the tournament so far. What a battle by both teams. No one was expecting Ryan Kalkbrenner to shoot that 3 at the 15:58 mark in the video. The entire defense left him open like: "He doesn't have the guts to shoot that". He drained it with ease in OT. 🤣🤣

If you were pulling for Creighton it was. Oregon must be kicking themselves for letting that freshman throw the ball in to the big guy, up 2 with 27 seconds to go and you have the ball. You never throw it into a a big guy that can't shoot free-throws, but he did. Ha

@@AnthonyBennettKYand the refs call way too many fouls when the players are barely even touching each other, it slows the game down and makes the product feel really cheap. And there’s plenty of straight up horrible calls every game that absolutely alter the outcome of a close game, but they want you to accept it and move on and almost turn a blind eye. The refs have way too much power over these games for being so incompetent almost every foul call is subjective

0:22. If you so badly don't want Dante to receive the inbound pass ... why is he on the floor? There'll be plenty of time to sub him back into the game when whoever gets fouled is shooting his free throws. That's just awful coaching.

With this game the term thriller isn't exactly relevant if you look at the end score. To end up losing by double digits definitely takes away from the whole thriller option. Yes 2 OT's is thrilling but the end result, for me, is disappointing in the sense that regulation and first OT weren't.

Creighton players showed poise, confidence, and execute with ball movements and most importantly, made all critical and right-decision shots. Oregon players were all standing around waiting for their star marque player - Cousinard to make play that resulted in hero-ball style one man show the rest of the way. Unfortunately, Cousinard is NOT a superstar. Well-deserved W by Creighton.

I had a lot of money on Creighton so I’m not complaining when I say this. It seems like such a simple routine play when it happens but actually getting the ball into the hands of a great foul shooter at the end of regulation was the difference between winning and losing in this game. Terrible mistake to not take the timeout and reset the inbounds play. When they threw it to Dante and he got fouled I knew they were in trouble and so did Dana Altman. Why would the inbounder think it’s okay to throw the ball to him in that situation? It’s the little things I guess.

@@XxBonzeD4Kill4xX Flag your response and hit me back in December at the end of the season. I just think it’s not going to work out for Oregon - or any of the teams that killed the PAC 12. Too greedy rather than pride of tradition and love of the game.

Better team won. #5 for Oregon just quit playing D when they lost the lead in 2OT and tried to do it all on his own on the other end. From 71-71 to 71-81 he literally never passed the ball one time and took every single shot early in the possession… most of the forced.

Then the kid was WAY TO SLOW going to the basket at the end of regulation with the game tied. He should have been going as fast as he could when he got that ball.

Absolute beast of a player but he handled the ball way too relaxed all game Idk how the coach doesn’t drill that into him after the 5th time almost getting a 10 second call bringing the ball up like it’s B league intramural

OT needs to be shortened to 1 or 2 minutes...nothing worse than 5 minutes being enough time to allow a seemingly thrilling ending to segue into an anticlimax.

Nah, if you can’t finish that’s a conditioning issue. Oregon choked and it went to OT. Hands on knees starting second half. Respect for the 2v5 but they got exposed hard second OT. RDJ.

It’s not a bad thing that climactic endings are fairly rare. That’s what makes them exciting.

If you're going to play a 1 or 2 minute OT, you may as well just toss a coin to decide the winner.

@kdog2646 brother that's what timeouts are for and if they didn't have one that's what coaching is for too be prepared for every situation, end of game situations are rehearsed at nausim the coach even said I'm mad at myself and if I was a betting man I'm sure that's the play he wants back
