“What makes March of Empires one of the [WORST] MMO Strategy Games ever made is the depth” of blatant cheating the game developers allow. Success in this game is pretty straight forward: 1. Create and use dozens of extra accounts as “farms” to provide a limitless supply of resources. Resources are the key to the game. 2. For even more resources, don’t waste time hitting “dead” (i.e. abandoned & shieldless) castles - employ the services of bots to do it for you. Hire those bots to hit encounter camps too! . . . and finally, although not cheating, most importantly. . . 3. Buy pack after pack after pack after pack after pack. . . after pack from Gameloft. You can’t run with the top dogs without acquiring the best of everything for your champion and castle and the only way to efficiently do that is to spend, spend, spend and spend some more. This is not a deep and complex MMO strategy game. It’s a “game” of cheating and spending money. My guess is that Gameloft doesn’t put more effort into eliminating the cheating because I bet there’s an EXTREMELY strong correlation between spending and cheating. Can you imagine how much better this game could be if everyone could truly only play ONE account/castle and there were no bots running castles 24/7? Money spent would still largely dictate success but it would be a much more enjoyable experience, one in which strategy and skill actually had a decent effect. Until that day, don’t insult us by making videos in which you purport that we’re playing a deep and complex strategy game.

@@marchofempiresofficial So is creating and playing dozens of extra accounts to provide your main account with a steady/limitless supply of extra resources considered cheating? If so, Gameloft shouldn’t need any help from players to find and report offenders - analyze any realm and it should be bloody obvious who’s using a ridiculous number of “farms.” If Gameloft really cared about this issue they’d do a deep-dive into the the top players by might in every Realm, or the players that are adding billions of might in nearly every muster event, especially the grand/paragon ones - dollars-to-donuts says they’re all guilty of excessive “farm” use. Nevertheless, it shouldn’t be OUR (the player’s) job to find and report these offenders - it should be YOURS (Gameloft). If you really cared about cleaning up this nonsense YOU’D have done it a long time ago. Clearly, considering how pervasive and OBVIOUS “farm” use is, you don’t.

One thing that bother me is they dont provide good chests with equipment - always the same ... Also in order to craft the top lvl equipment you need to have lots of yellow top equipment which you cannot get easily ... This needs to be fixed .

Need better bonuses for solo players who do not wish to play in an alliance. Good respectable alliances are killed by toxic alliances because they are (in my opinion) hackers and wallet warriors with a big ego.

How bout a tab where we can use 3x 8hr peace shields and convert to 24hr and 9 for a 3day shield , and when doing alliance tower event if there is a tile inside zone add that as time bonus.

I find it rather poignant that when directly confronted on the issue of whether or not "farm" use is considered cheating the game developers go eerily silent. Why are they afraid to clearly respond to such a simple question in a public forum? I suspect it's because there's an extremely strong correlation between "farm" use and spending and Gameloft doesn't want to alienate its cash cows. But here's the rub. How healthy can someone be that they would create/manage/play dozens (hundreds?) of extra accounts to succeed in a game, one in which, to the best of my knowledge, there are no monetary rewards handed out for achievement? It's psychotic behavior to say the least. By not targeting and eliminating so much unhealthy behavior in its game Gameloft is indirectly supporting and encouraging it. It's overdosing its users with an addictive product and watching the profits roll in as lives are ruined. Purdue Pharma did it with Oxycontin; Gameloft is doing it with March of Empires. Don't become a statistic in the worst way possible. Stay away from this cesspool of a game.

Get rid of some dead castles. In some regions you can't find buildings because of so many dead castles. Send email to those that have not logged in for 3 months that they must login or the account will be deleted. All dead castles lvl 14 and lower should be deleted.
