We will see, I didn’t realize the pole wasn’t in the sleeve all the way, my bad. It’s a solid cot for sure !

That cot is identical to my FE Active cot. Same weight and everything.

Sure is, they are made in China and then sold by different companies that renamed them.

Ive never see a cot that breaks down. This would be cool to keep in my truck for car camping / night fishing. It would be cool to stick some poles on the ground at one side and make a canopy with a small tarp.
@MeetMeOutside3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, car camping, or a short hike. You could easily set up a tarp over it. These things are all over Amazon.

I was on the fence about this, i have their chair and table set. Think I may have to pick one up for that added layer of comfort. Keep on keepin on!

Is the chair comfy?
@tony71062 жыл бұрын
@@Icewing10 absolutely. I've noticed no difference in comfort from this to a highend one like Helinox

Yeah I think I owe that to myself becoming an old fart! ( don’t laugh!!! ). Thanks for keeping us updated on this new gear, that’s just another toy for my gear list! Appreciated my friend! .... hope you make an other video on that new hot tent 🏕. Cheers ....Pete.

I had a cot similar to this but the cross bars were smaller diameter. It was comfy, but only lasted two years. Your system looks more robust and might last longer than mine. We'll have to see. Nice vid man, take care.

Understood Steve, in all reality I will most likely use this 8-10 times a year, not much. For the short money, if it last that long, it’s a bonus ! Cheers

Nice review man. Looks like it would be real comfortable.

Your welcome, again I only use the cot on short winter walks, or camp outs. I’m definitely not willing to carry an extra 4.8 lbs on a backpacking trip ! I do look forward to using it canoe camping. Have a great weekend my friend.

Going on Amazon to check it out now. Good review

Right on, I didn’t realize the second pole on the side wasn’t in all the way ! Usually the fabric would be tighter ! Oh well it still held me ! Cheers

@MeetMeOutside3 жыл бұрын

Okay, I'm very new to camping. What the heck is hot tenting?
@MeetMeOutside2 жыл бұрын
It’s just when you burn a wood stove designed to burn in an appropriate tent with a stove jack and stove pipe. In the colder months. The tent can be canvas, sill nylon.

Also, here on KZbin just type in “ Hot tenting “ there are hundreds of hot tenting videos ! 👍✌️
