Note that vegan pastries are usually really thick. They're not fluffy like regular donuts or crumbly like cookies. They're REALLY hard to eat quickly because they're hard to chew. Marcia did a good job.

I don't think Marcia was trying to be selfish, I think it was just weird for her to be eating junk like that after all the crazy dieting she'd done for so long. Not to be a freak, but five of those donuts probably were at least 1,000 calories. Her husband had cancer so she obviously cares about the cause.

The Desperate Housewives Syndrome, I believe they call it, is very prominent in (understandably) the cast of Desperate Housewives. The cast members have alluded to it every once in a while. Dana Delany said it was hell, Marcia said she felt like "she was being paid not to eat," we all know Teri is thin as a rail, for some reason the fabulous Felicity thinks she's not as thin as the other women on the show... I think the costumer even gave a whole interview about it.

In defense of Marcia's donut eating abilities, those are not regular donut holes. as a vegan resident of los angeles, the donut holes from Fonuts are especially dense. they use alternative ingredients and bake their donuts instead of frying them.
