We love this show! I wish I could have got the drone up a bit higher to get a total overall, but there was a small pocket of no wind at about 62 feet I could fly...if you go back and watch the vendor/swap meet tents you can see them whipping in the wind...anything above and below 50-60 feet really beat the drone up, so tried to stay where I could keep the camera steady! thanks for coming along!

But that sky and those awsome clouds bring back memories of how my daughter and I would find clouds that looked like stuff. Maybe a cloud that looked like a VW........etc. It always seemed to divert her attention away from any problem she was having. Thanks for sharing the vid .....drone footage was a cool extra touch.

Still slobbering while typing. So many of these brought back memories, quit a few of these I've had. Squareback, rag top, splitwindow bus, cut down baja, and my favorite....a '64 bug that would blow the doors off 283 and 289 v-8. Camaros and mustangs. Bet you don't know why ghias are hard to find. It's because most all the fiberglass kit cars needed short wheelbase pans and the ghia wheelbase was perfect. A lot of the custom rail buggys used them also. Thanks
@marcijunebug3 жыл бұрын
awe...I've owned a few myself and I have to say my first one...a ruby red 62 (not the one we currently have) is probably still my favorite...my dad bought it for me before I had a license for $50 at an auction and he and I restored it...be hard to get one to compare...the ghias aren't so hard to find just hard to find not super rusty in this area anyway! Always enjoy your videos. Several months ago I purchased a 69 Bay window that rough but worth saving. One thing led to another and I ended up with a 66 beetle, 914 and a rebuilt single port 1600. I recently convinced a fellow with over 50 years in the business to sell and install one of his rebuilds in the bus. I need some pointers on repairing the lower windshield frame that is pretty rusty and rotted. I'm not looking to make something pristine, just road worthy. Sorry for the lengthy comment.
