Just love this group. Marcin’s phrasing, comping and soloing is absolutely beautiful. Can’t say enough-not enough musical words in my vocabulary. Slavomir and Michael are so tasteful backing up Marcin. And I’m no novice at jazz-I’ve been playing jazz all my life, so I feel somewhat qualified in commenting.

There are versions of this composition on their early recording, Habanera, when they were known as the Simple Acoustic Trio, and on what is probably their best overall recording , Faithful, but those versions are surpassed by this live video, showing this great trio playing with energy and a virtuosity that isn’t flashy but instead serves the music.
