Please note: this is not your usual "bass demo" where all the different possibilities of the instrument are shown. Instead, this time we took an alternative approach: Andrés visited us and we put a number of basses in his hands and he just basically played the music that this particular instrument inspired him to play at that moment. All the music in this video is improvised and everything is first take. We feel honored to have witnessed Andres' expertise and super fast adaptation to a bunch of basses that are actually quite different from one another. He really pulled the best music out of each one in a very natural way as you can see and hear.

Hello from Arcachon, France. I just ordered a brown sunburst gloss 4 string. 280 days of waiting. I also like the GR Bass AT Cube to Andrés left. I have the 500 combo and 112 cab. How long ago was that Marcústico made? The pictures Joaquin has on his website (and what I'm expecting) have some differences, like the upper bout design, the tapered neck profile (not squared off like this one) and a different (black) preamp at the bass of the bridge. Thanks in advance. Burgos is not very far from Joaquin's workshop. I hope to pick mine up in person when it's completed. I don't know if I'll be able to visit your store when I do, since I'll have my 3 dogs with me. Maybe some other time. I'm always looking for the opportunity to eat some good pintxos and percebes!
