Wazzup pards! Another day, another vlog!
I hope everything is fine. Pards, sharing another hotel vlog, this time featuring Marco Polo Plaza in Cebu City, Philippines. This hotel is one the first in Cebu but I must say one of the most well maintained. Also, the memory I have years ago was that they have one of the best breakfast buffet! So I want to validate if that is still the case. So pards, finish this video if you want to take a look of what to expect in Marco Polo Plaza Cebu.

Marco Polo used to be Cebu Plaza Hotel which was built in 1979. The hotel was one of a string of other properties in Cebu (mostly resorts) that the Marcoses owned during their 20-year reign in the Philippines. Cebu was the lone poster boy of Philippines tourism during the entire Marcos Sr. regime. Boracay, Palawan and all other popular destinations today were not heard of during that time. Cebu Plaza Hotel and all other Cebu properties of the Marcoses were long sequestered by the government immediately after the downfall of Marcos Sr. and were auctioned off (along with their other Cebu properties). Metrobank through Federal Land bought this particular hotel which now owns the hotel and managed by Marco Polo Hotels of Hong Kong. Since then, Federal Land built 4 luxury high-rise residential condos inside the premises too which are now completed.
