Evil Baby Orphanage Review

The game was based on a concept created around the Vlogbrothers in one of their videos. They talked about the morality of going back in time to kill baby Hitler and someone commented with the idea that you shouldn't kill evil babies but take them to an evil baby orphanage and raise them to be good people instead. Wyrd Miniatures heard about this idea and made a card game based on it. Vlogbrothers is also where they got some of the names for other cards ie. Puppy Sized Elephant, Use Your Words...

I backed this game on Kickstarter and therefore have the 1st printing. We still played to 8 VP, but even then disliked the game. There's so little to it. I love the artwork and the theme, but find that there's no gameplay there. I'm also surprised that your games ran as long as 40 minutes, games can be over in as little as 3 rounds and in 5-10 minutes of play. I like your house ruling, I also dislike cards that reset the game. I'm still hopeful of the upcoming expansions.
