It is not only a problem for charging. Many apps are made without taking tourists into account. I was in Miami last month as a European tourist. Tried to use the local parking app because it was the only way to legally park. It was impossible to do it with my European phone. It needed a lot of unnecessary details and refused me because I did not have a local number. Why don't they just have simple website where you can use your credit card ? And you are right. Cities are always problems and stress. Everywhere in the world. I find it hard to understand that so many people actually like to live in a city.

Hi Marc, I strongly suggest you to be very careful when you are flying your drone in Turkey. There are 2 reasons behind. The first one is, although you have drone flying license, flying it in public places is strickly forbidden and you should take special permission from the Civil Aviation Authority. Otherwise, you might face fines. The other thing is, there is a GPS signal distortion system in Turkey, called Ilter. It is placed to almost all cities which is effective up to 80 kilometers. When that system (which is very often) activated, your drone thinks that it is located in Ankara and tries to fly where the home point is. You lose all your control over the drone. Hunderds of people lost their drones because of this system. Be careful!
@MarcTravels Жыл бұрын
Alright 🤙🏼
@MarcTravels Жыл бұрын
Can you pls send me a reference link? Would be much appreciated mate 🤗
@peace4ride Жыл бұрын
@@MarcTravels I checked it for you, however, all the official links are in Turkish. I can shortly explain the procedure for you. If you are going to fly your drone in a specific area, you have to apply for permission 10 days before. It is checked and than ”maybe” the permission is granted. There is also a fee for the application. So, as I traveller, you need fly it on your own risk. To be honest, flying drone in Turkey is just a pain in the ***. I sold mine after the strict restrictions. Bringing or buying drone in Turkey is permitted, however flying it as a hobby is 99% restricted. I know it makes no sense, however, this is how it works, unfortunately...
