If you get sponsored by companies they usually expect something from you. More or less communicated but usually nothing is for free. I know hindsight is a wonderful thing, but the “tire patch” fix is for the sidewalls and that too it’s pivotal that the punctured area is cleaned with a sandpaper or something that could roughen the area of puncture. Secondly, try to keep a tyre tube for tubeless tyres, it’s a temporary fix. Although, I’m sure once you enter China, roads would get better.

_“tire patch” fix is for the sidewalls_ Sorry to say this but the sidewall can not be repaired correctly/permanently. Not with plugs nor tire patch. You can try (it might get you to a tire shop) but side wall puncture means replacement.

Roads in Nepal and Ladakh really took a lot of toll on those tyres. Sharp stones cut really badly into the tyres, even if the tyres are new, still the sharp edges of stone can slice into tyres like knife goes through butter. And once a tyre gets cut it's very difficult to plug the puncture.

Mark - just drill a hole in the center of the rim to pass the valve stem, and place an innertube - that will be easier to find than a New tyre where you are. Later you make something that Seals that hole So you can go back to TubeLess. Just put enough pressure in it >35psi to avoid ripping the valve stem. Good luck

Some help from your 'older brother': 1. fix puncture with NO Pressure in your tire (so it has time to 'set') 2. REEM hole first with Reem tool to turn 'cracky' hole into 'roundish' hole to be able to achieve max possibility of sealage. 3.wait for Vulcanizing to act (like putting a tube patch on...) for a while (in my early days , I once put over 10 patches on one tube until I learned) Optional: carry compact battery powered airpump to adjust pressure in tires according to road surface... Have Fun.

Another tip if the usual fix from the OUTSIDE doesn't work is to take the tire off the rim and put a Big Truck Patch over the hole from the INSIDE. Then, especially if it's still a reasonable new tire, you can safely ride til the tire is worn out. That tire repair shop in Keylong could have done that overnight (don't let them take the wheel off the bike and put it back on, do that yourself, so it's done properly).

Wenn du den Stopfen mit dem Werkzeug voll reingesetzt hast, musst du diesen dann rumdrehen sodass er sich innen verdreht. I also think by leaving so much bulging out every time it rotates over and makes contact with the road surface it has friction and causes it to move, so you create the chance for the seal to be broken,. Probably better to trim as close to inline with the tire as you can manage. But nerves of steel to keep push through (not that you had another choice!)

Namaste. Glad you are getting helped. Very good guys 🥹🥹🥹 I think that the solution that you apply to the puncture sealing plug melts the rubber and makes it soft. Thats why it keeps expanding whenever you put air pressure on the wet seal. It will be good if you let it completely dry first. Then fill the air. I hope all has been good in Manali by now. When you reach China, look for some cool upgrades. You might find a better tyre. Even a better and higher battery. And also look for the foam inserts for the tyres. They keep the tyres inflated even after puncture.
@johncf55656 күн бұрын
I had this kind of puncture experience once, i must admit that it is not fun at all. All that u can do is to plug in and limp until u can get hold of a new tyre to be change. Once you start plugging in more than 1 plug, the hole will slowly get bigger and bigger and hence starting to crack. Hope u will get a new tyre soon. This is part of the adventure.... don't worry u will make it somehow, take care ... cheers.

20 years experience riding motorbikes. If you haven't changed your tire yet, then consider getting 2 new tires. You don't want any issues with the front one from the rubber drying out and cracking. Please Consider an all terrain tire and make sure the production date stamp on the tire is 2023/24 so that means fresh rubber not all dried out like your current one.

5:45 Bro I found the reason for the error code on the internet and this is it 👇 Error code 31 on the Zero SR/F typically indicates an issue with the throttle control or throttle sensor calibration. This can occur due to: 1. Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Calibration Issue The sensor might occasionally detect an improper value or misalignment when the bike is powered on.

Beim reparieren mit dem Streifen sollte man eine dreiviertel Umdrehung mit dem Werkzeug machen bevor man es zieht.

Not sure if this helps Error 31 indicates a failure during the power on sequence, often caused by holding down the power button for more than six seconds, or if the power button is stuck. To fix this error: When powering on the ebike, release the power button once the display and remote light up.

Its a tear, not a puncher, rubber plugs wont hold. You will have to get it repaired from the inside. Just like how Ben did or get a tube instead.

Maybe you should carry a inside patch kit as well as a innertube even though it's a tubeless tire .

It would be easier with a off-road bike in Ladakh, that's undeniable. The weight of the bike and the road tires, it must be hell, exhausting. Respect for this choice. Good luck
