Freddy T Oh I know that, trust me, my father has a 15 grand HiFi system and needs a lot of wiring, the wires were high end quality and cost roughly 1200. But that's justified because it makes an outstanding difference, this little wire it stupid

If it's converting from mic headphone jack to USB then it's not just a wire, it's gotta have a DAC (Digital to Analog Converter). A good quality DAC that small isn't going to be real cheap. But yes I'm sure Leica adds 100-200 percent markup too.
