I am a Tennessee fan who generally roots for SEC teams in bowl games and playoff games, usually even rivals. I’ve learned that there are absolutely exceptions to that though. I loved watching ND get this win against UGA, full stop. And there might come a time when Texas is just included in that, a team that I would like to see win as a representative of the SEC, a time when they are the team I’d like to see ultimately come out on top, if they’re the only team remaining as they are now. However, that time is certainly not now, because there’s no question that I would love to see Notre Dame get this championship. To be completely honest, I’m not sure how anyone gets by Ohio State if they keep doing what they’ve been doing. To the point though, I’ll definitely be rooting for Notre Dame to take it all the way. So, good luck 🍀 to you!

After NIU, I thought we’d lose multiple games during the regular season. But, Marcus and the team hunkered down and proved me (and many pundits) wrong (thankfully). Beating the SEC champ in the Sugar Bowl, after decades of futility, no big bowl wins, getting blown out in the CFP, etc., was (and is) a huge turning point for the Irish, not only for this team, but for the program going forward. To Hannah’s last point, I hope Marcus isn’t tempted to leave ND by the NFL or another college program - Ohio State is the only program that I think Marcus would consider as it’s his alma mater. Also, we really have to do what we can to keep Al Golden, and Mike Denbrock, in South Bend. Let’s keep the band together (Marcus, Al, and Mike) and keep rolling! Go Irish!☘️
