They won BOA San Antonio that year by 2.85, a margin that still hasn’t been equaled or surpassed. Also swept every judge at UIL but that was light work for them at this point.

IIRC, they've been on a decline ever since and Flower Mound beat them two years later.

@@ismaelreyna5399Marcus placed 2nd at BOA San Antonio in 2023. Marcus has never really been “on a decline” just because they don’t manage to place 1st by nearly 3 points ahead of 2nd place.
