When you see Malmsteen's compositions up close and personal you have a greater appreciation of the complexities involved. Many say, 'all Malsteen's solos sound the same'!. I think they are forgetting that playing style and technique is relative to a written signature. In other words, most composers are pretty much guilty of pigeon holing themselves. Thankfully, cover artists don't suffer from the same affliction. You did a fantastic job.

This is a duder that is insanely talented. 1 of 1000. He combines phenomenal technique with the most important thing of all - musicality and feel. Not only true to the original, but he surpasses it IMO. Notice the way he playes the second segment, notice the timing of the vibratos. Pure gold, just as Yngwie does. Thank you for posting this. I’m 12 years late, but wow, what a pleasure!

you can find a lot of technical guitarist on youtube nowdays ...but such articulate movements on the fret board with this awesome vibrato, all performed in a wonderfull style .....that you wont see everyday good job brother keep up the good work !

In my opinion Lavendell is the best performing Yngwie´s songs without any doubt in youtube (not only the technique wich is amazing, also the vibrato, passion and intention of Yngwie´s phrasing is there and that´s not easy to achieve) and also a fantastic guitarrist by himself. Dude. Where are those fantastic Yngwie Medleys vids? I miss them.
