Ever since I discovered you through “Lost in Silence” I’ve been on a binge through your whole catalogue, and I’m impressed by what a jewel I’ve found ❤ It’s clear to hear how much you’ve grown since your first tracks and you only keep getting better! It must be a bit intimidating coming off the hype of North Star, but please know you’re doing excellent! Thanks for all the music, keep going!! As for this song, I love how the intro combined with the twist gives the impression of actually being on a train. From the point where you’re settling down in your seat, reminiscing on the moments that lead you to it, to then just taking off on this wonderful journey of a song!

Idk if I'm just overthinking but I really love the way you put this accents both in lyrics and in music. I'm not educated enough to tell what makes me feel the way I feel about all of your songs but it's always something gentle where it's needed or something powerfull, it's always different shades of feelings. Love this!

I keep coming back to this one. I think both the message and the way the song builds on itself as it goes on really hits me in the emotions. This reminds me of a lot of certain relationships in my life, and the sort of emotional place I've ended up in after those relationships come to an end. Especially the lyrics "I ponder setting aside my safety to see if that train might have your face," really hits home for me. Fantastic job.

I HADN'T EVEN REACHED THE MIDDLE OF THE SONG YET. HOLD ON. HOOOOOOOOOOOOLD ON. w o a h. i might cry. had to put on my other earbud too and listen again with full attention,,, after listening on loop for an hour or so/since the time of my above comment- this song, the lyrics and all, reach me in a really personal way. Brings back some memories. I get all of what you said, though probably from very different experiences. It reaches my heart, if that makes sense. I dunno, I just, feel the emotion in it really powerfully. I'm on the edge of tears so much right now. And, your voice is, stunning, y'know? The layering of your vocals, synth(?), percussion, strings, everything, it's like being enveloped into a different environment. WOAH I realized part of what I meant by that last part a few more listens in. So- I have some sort of constant 24/7 medical thing where I can't feel physically calm, I always feel like I've got intense adrenaline going through my limbs at all times of the day/night, but when I'm listening to this, that legit stops. Dude this is crazy haha it's only ever stopped (for a duration of like 3-5 minutes) after following a specific breathing technique instructional livestream once, a year or more ago. I listen to so much music, and that's never caused it to go away before. I don't get chills from music either; music tends to only have a significant emotional effect on me, not a common physical one. I'd forgotten again what it feels like to feel calm like this. I've had this issue for longer than I can remember, years and years.. I'm sure it'll come back cause that's just, my normal, but I'll definitely return to this song lots. Not sure if it'll continue to go away when I come back, but I'm curious! And I adore the song otherwise a huge amount anyway!! Ur absuuuurd dude. Ur absolutely incredible. Holyyy... Even just an hour of a break from that is such an immense gift, it's never consciously happened before, at all, seriously. Honestly really made my day. To think this whole hr+, it's been gone. I've got no idea what you did in this that caused that effect but genuinely, this is a masterpiece, thank you. You're a fantastic musician,, but I already knew that before this song aha. You better know that too!!! Your music is super impactful, especially outside of, but also including this calmness thing. I hope whatever this song is about for you heals warmly. Take care!!

I think all that needs to be said about the song has been said. But ima just say this song is peak and i only discovered this after I heard "Beyond the Trees".
