You see how super active he was in the nets series. He hurt his leg in the bucks series and clearly wasn’t the same, then to make matters worse he hurt his ankle badly in the heat series. Everyone is quick to want him gone, but on a hurt one leg he kept us in a lot of games. And people seem to forget his improvement in the second half of the year changed our season. We do need a backup playmaker tho. Unless we surround Derrick white with all shooters off the bench I think he will still find trouble getting back to his spurs self. He loves to drive and kick or hit that floater but he needs room to operate. Even if he doesn’t have more shooters around him on the bench , I think he will be a better player next season for the simple fact he will get a full training camp with us. We literally got him a few weeks before the playoffs started.

Man was a deamon in that first series, thats why depth is everything

@@ThePartarar Very true, I don’t want to hear any Celtics fans complain because we got a solid playmaker in brogdon. Jaylen brown and Tatum still need to be improving as playmakers just in case of injury

Smart had a great postseason! His defense is a huge factor for Boston!
@zoomzoom38392 жыл бұрын
Smart upped his offense as well, his scoring in particular, 15ppg! From Marcus Smart on decent efficiency as well, that is pretty awesome, if the Celtics can get that production from him in the regular season 13-15ppg on respectable efficiency call it 42% shooting and if he can make 35% of his threes that would make Marcus Smart that much better a player, the guy takes a shit ton of three pointers if he can shoot threes on average efficiency which is 35% that is a deadly weapon.

Just watching celtics nets series for me had an eye opening about defense cuz Celtics wasn’t talked about until after they swept the nets and just watching their defense and rotation, and etc oof. Now I fckn love defense, I play hard whether if it’s scrimmage or a tournament.

Marcus Smart should be a career long Celtic cuz he's def a lifelong Celtic. If you think otherwise you're wrong.

Steph became unguardable, he was making highly contested shots, that's not exactly Smart's fault.

He was injured with 2 different leg injuries, and still was phenomenal on steph.. steph scored mostly on switches which is bostons plan. you cant blame smart for switching off steph when thats what he is being told to do...
