Marcus, I listen to your music because it never fails to make me feel. It seems that a lot of music released nowadays is mindless and cliché and, in some cases, disgusting. Your music is a breath of fresh air and I can listen to it over and over again and I find something new to appreciate in each piece every time. I thought I'd just take a moment to say that you inspire and motivate your audience. I love to write, and a lot of what I'm working on right now is inspired by your music, specifically Octavia and Kingdoms. Simply: thank you. Please, keep up the good work (:

Based on the lyrics, I can see that how much you have expressed your thoughts and feelings through them. Also, the fact that this is your first release under the name "Marcus Warner" really adds more to what I'm saying. It's almost like the Evening Star have sent us, the listeners, Marcus Warner. Or the "Goodbye!" at the end of the song showed that you have moved on with life, from the old shell of "Evening Star".

I've listened to this song for two day's and I've tried to analyze it, and the only thing I can come up with is that it's about someone coming out of a dark place into the light, I think it is a beautiful piece of Music. Some people I know would say I have no soul but I think I do, I'm at the crossroads of my life, if I go start ahead I'll destroy myself, but it is down to me in which road I take, do I go left or right and where will it lead me, hopefully to piece of mind and happiness.. These are just my thoughts. I have PTSD ex Armed Forces

i have often considered buying the orchestral VST packages wich are used to make music such as this. I don't know how to write music and i don't understand notes, i just type in something and it evolves from there. I got so much emotion inside of me wich i can't share with the world because i haven't bought those packages yet. The question that holds me back is: how does one qualify as a composer? If i write melodies with the ignorance i have, by just random playing........does that make me a composer in that youtube sense? Is this.........abnormal or weird of me to do? Do any other epic-music composers do it this way?
@hellfire75927 жыл бұрын
Drakensson Look, anyone can be a composer, though it's not really as easy as stringing notes together. In a course, you would be taught rules, but I've learnt those are nowhere near the most important things. The only real thing you need to do is break the rules, and compose from your heart and your soul.
