I admit that I came here expecting to know most of what was said, but not only did Dr. Mueller contextualize it in ways I didn't, I actually learned some things I did not know and in ways that do change my opinion on Marcuse.

_Eros and Civilization_ was a big influence on me. Now I see it as a left deviation, although still valuable. But listening to this presentation makes me wonder if Marcuse was even being serious. Of course, I'm sure he was.
