Really interesting how each dimension influenced the outcome. The Overworld's abundance of resources meant there was less of a need to form a united group, which led to their inability to raise a substantial army. The Nether's lack of basic resources led to them having constant civil unrest ultimately leading them losing a lot of key resources really close to the final day. The End ultimately won in large part to Tamer managing to get control early and working to help as many people as possible.
@j.a.hernandez974228 күн бұрын
It was really perspective that ruined it for the Nether. They had resources, but the Roofers kept taking it, which never allowed that dimension to actually progress past the survival stage.
@MrTroves26 күн бұрын
The Nether was not helped by the fact that there was a group of players actively sabotaging vital resources in order to create monopolies and infighting for profit. As for the Overworld's usage of Slave Soldiers... well, I suspect they embraced Chef's combat plan from the South Park Movie.

Tamer as a villain: 💀 Tamer redemption arc: 👑 Honestly that was incredible. Throughout most of this basically all the leaders were villains and schemers basically. Tamer having somewhat similar intentions as the previous video at the start, hoping for victory this time around for his 2nd attempt but, guess what. Man had crazy character development and basically became the savior of the dimensions while still getting what he wanted, while before he went for more sinister ways on the previous event and losing. @ColeMeyer-d1c ive watched every single noteworthy civilization video since magic gum started the trend, hell I was in one or two of them, which is why I mean it when I say this was the most politically intricate one. The players understood the assignment, so to speak, and watching actually diverse motives clash in gruellingly gritty ways was an absolute pleasure. Not that ish's events dont stand up to this, but theyre definitely simpler, its players less cutthroat, their motives less explored, and thats a quality all to itself.
@plugshirt17623 күн бұрын
Eh it was hardly the most politically intricate because all the dimensions were cut off from each other and they knew teaming up to fight against the other dimensions would be in their best interest. Things get much more complicated when there is no clear end goal and alliances get tied up as conflicts emerge and there are various players trying to influence things
@ConMan12 күн бұрын
This was honestly amazing to watch. My thoughts on significant players: Henry was hilarious and unified people through culture. Racechamp was tactical, but cowardly. Perspective was too money and power driven which caused too many losses and a lack of leadership. Squidy's weakness allowed Perspective to thrive and cause a divide between his partnership. WhaleFinn was victim to a weak partner. Defender was good and honest, but neutrality and passiveness is easily trampled in times of war. Youri was understandably seeking revenge, but should've prioritized peace for his people. Tamer was an amazing leader, not losing sight of what was most important.

Honestly the number one Civilization Minecraft Movie I've seen that was produced so well. Leaders revered by their citizens, influencing others with their philosophies that conflict against other empires, histories being rewritten by the victors of war, and notable figures with selfish goals that can alter the course of the event. This makes me appreciate it more, it's just so entertaining and very rich in lore. Especially with the cinematics and the choice of soundtracks to dictate the tone of the scenes. Notable leaders for me were obviously Tamer for his excellent leadership and change in perspective and goals because of a bigger threat, and HenryWest for his antics and inspirational quote, "We're here for a good time, not for a long time"! Tamer's work towards his goal, his genuine and likable personality, his worries about his people and what his actions could cause, every single last bit of his character faced struggle. He truly changed as a character, I feel like I'm reading a masterpiece of fiction. But it's not scripted at all. The fact that one of the weakest Nether players still managed to use his strategy from afar to cause inward strife and properly use his wealth without ever having to give back on his promises, and still managed to take control and set his sights on all three dimensions is insanity. West, oh West!!! Truly a masterpiece of a character. A man, no, a people who didn't give up on their ideals. Who didn't give up on their way of life. Pure beauty. I like how each dimension had their own “good guy” player Overworld: HenryWest; one of the few leaders who didn’t have bad motives, he tried to get revenge for not only the attempted assassination, but also the attack on the raccoons and river folk. Nether: Defenders; self explanatory, he was a super charitable philanthropic dude. End: Tamer; while his motives were purely greedy at first, he united the end and turned them to the greater threat. He also united the end and overworld and freed the Mongolian slaves from racechamps tyranny after arresting him. Finally he also spared the last of the nether citizens. I really respect how Tamer spared the rest of the nether at the end and didn’t turn on the overworld once the beat the nether. And the fact that defenders employees still stayed loyal and did their charity after he died was so cool. If I had to rank the three worst “villains” from most evil to least it would be 1. Racechamp; literally killed the Mongolians, enslaved the escapees, and manipulated the citizens to believe he was correct 2. Whale; he went out of his way to shut down the entire nethers only reliable food source 3. Perspektives; he was essentially just a money hungry greedy person. Tried to monopolize on wood, but realized monopolizing on food would be more profitable, then wormed his way into power when there were many more suitable alternatives like Quals who gave new players an opportunity to survive or some of defender’s employees who continued the legacy

Man. That final message by Race really makes you think about the contrast between selfishness and selflessness. Excuse the essay, but lemme write down my thoughts. Race claims "he did it for the people" when he sent a hitman to kill Henry, enslaved the Mongolians, manipulated the truth and fed the people a lie. Race was a friendly face that easily earned the trust of the people around him- but in truth, he took the trust of others for granted. He valued his own life more than the lives of those around them. Perhaps he even lied to himself, thinking that what he was doing was right and necessary. He didn't want to do anything for the people, he wanted to protect himself. As shown when he escaped to a bunker when the Nether came and slaughtered his people rather than doing what he can to prepare people for war and lead them. The Selfishness of a Liar and a Hypocrite, that when pressured: revealed naught but cowardice. The Leader who leads from the Back. Prospect was the most obvious example of Selfishness. A businessman and a schemer, he at least knew what he was and embraced Selfishness wholeheartedly. Manipulating everyone around him without care or concern for their well-being. Whale and Squid were the ones in the public eye, so he made use of both's Selfishness to bring an end to both of them. And though he managed to lead from the front to ravage the Overworld's lands, one might suppose he failed to look back to see who else was following him. He didn't look back at all. Not that he was ignorant, but that he didn't care about the body count his actions were racking up. And thus, as he took the remaining army from the slaughter of the Overworld- he finally looked back to retreat from the End. And he saw nothing but a stack of bodies as his back up, before joining them. The Leader who leads from the Front. Tamer, however, is a very interesting case here. As every man has done, Tamer went into the role of leadership expecting that his plans and schemes would be the deciding factor for achieving his goals. Although he wanted to do anything to lead- including the unwarranted pardon of a serial murderer in order to provoke his opponent into attacking- he realized something. That the people around him were terrified. Or at least, I theorize he realized that. The revelation that he was risking the lives of his people just so that he could be the sole leader of the End made him think. He knew that war was coming. He knew that he needed every hand in the End to be ready. And there it was: the revelation that without a people, he'd only be the King of a bunch of rocks. And thus, with genuine intent, he stretched out his hand towards his opponent. But alas, Youri slapped the hand away- which he had every right to do so. Tamer wouldn't make the same mistake he did in the past, and thus- before he put the crown on so tight that it wrapped around his eyes, he took it off, broke it apart, and gave the gold to the smiths for them to use the remains as material. At first, a very clear Selfish man- but he was the first to decide to put the Need of the Many first, rather than the Want of the Few. And that is why, through preparing as many people in the End as he could and saving as much life as he could, he won surrounded by those who trusted him. And thus, those he could trust. The Leader who leads in the middle of it all. TL'DR: Tamer won 'cause he had more people and deserved it a ton lmao :P

Perspective was definitely my fav person to watch. His idea of becoming the most richest player and monopolising everything was fun to watch. I think Perspective went wrong with being too isolated, from all the other Nether citizens. He only BOTHERED making a big appearance and trying to come into power when the event was almost over. I think he operated from the shadows for too long. Which cost him. And also Defenders4Life also got in the way. Why would the Nether citizens buy from Perspective, when someone was handing out food FOR FREE. His plan might have worked, if he started selling early, and they weren't other competitors/leaders. I mean Perspective did try to corruptly buy out one of the leaders as well, which was a smart move. But Perspective didnt come into power, by anything he did. Perspective's power was more of a "right place, right time, right person" If Whale Finn hadn't become paranoid of his partner, perspective wouldn't have rose. If Squidgy and Whale Finn hadnt died at the SAME TIME, perspective wouldn't have rose. Perspective only rose cause, "oh look 2 leaders suddenly died" but there wasn't a DIRECTLY something he did. And even when he rose to power, he didn't have a strategic plan. He basically just tried to rush all the other dimensions at once 💀 Tamer won, simply by doing less. By the time Perspective army came over, they already lost alot of soldiers.

1:42:36 to think, they formed as enderlings who wanted to see the sun, and the most Passive control of all dimensions won, which allowed this group of enderlings to finally realize their dream, and see the sun.

Finally, we can watch absolute cinema again! Great event, best I have ever played in.
Honestly, most of the time dictatorships on these kinds of servers fall apart, but Tamer in the end did such a good job, actually using clever tactics to retain power with a pretty tiny amount of risk to his person. Looking at this video he seems like the one person who had a properly loyal force. Also it's a damn shame the mongols didn't get to rule the overworld, they had such a cool concept!
@Raybro1628 күн бұрын
Damn straight. My gut couldn't help but turn with how Racechamp basically took over the overworld by wiping out the Mongolian empire as well as Perspective's corporate manipulation of the Nether's two leaders to destroying each other. I'm so glad the End won and brought justice to the two leaders XD

Absolutely stellar video. I have never watched something quite like this. I clicked on this video expecting to skip through, see some cool builds that a large amount of people made, and move on, but I was immediately immersed by the incredibly dramatic production. I felt the passion of each of the key figures in this video, inspired y their ability to lead, and shocked by their ability to backstab. The loyalty showcased by leaders followers -- particularly the Iron Guard -- was breathtaking. This video felt like a fantastical epic, with betrayal, epic battles, and deeply rooted lore. I have never seen your channel before, but bravo. 10/10.

Overworld: Protagonist: Henry Antagonist: Racechamp Fan favorite side character: Wolfram(Got his own little arc) Nether: Protagonist: Perspective Antagonist: Squid and Whale(they were in perspectives way for power) Fan favorite side character: Defenders(Everyone but Whales, his people, and possibly the roofers liked defenders.) End: Protagonist: Tamer Antagonist: Youri(Wasn't necessarily in the wrong, just against Tamer and Wilding.) Fan favorite side character: Hard to tell if I should put German or Damager, Damager got knighted and even killed Youri's failed assassin. German lead the sun group and ended up dying for a dream he would never see come true. Let me know in the replies if I should add any.

I love how most of the the major factions started with selfish and ambitious goals, and while most leaders failed due to tragic reasons, it’s certainly interesting that those who are willing to change their errors succeeded Edit: rip Henry

I can't believe tamer pulled it off in the end, literally. But the fact he emptied the vault to get everyone armed. He truly was such a good leader.
