6 years ago I found myself in a state of pure despair and no way out of my own head. Locked up and ashamed and the only tune I could play in my head and tap my fingers to was this. It is so a soothing song to me and puts me right at ease. Mr Warner I absolutely love your newer music but I am almost addicted to the nostalgia of your older works. Dammit, Evening Star, you awesome. This song is a bit louder on the beat side, a bit "drummier", but still beautiful and lovely and great. It does make me think of a Pegasus city. The ever-so-slightly dubsteppy whum-whum-whum hidden in the beat fits the "city" part, and the dreamy electronic flow is perfect for reflecting the endless expanses of the sky. Thank you!
