Evening Star True I love DnB and orchestral, it depends on what mood I'm in! This work is a masterpiece though, combining both :) Never heard anything like it, instantly loved it. Only found your channel today despite seeing your songs on other channels who post other peoples music. Subscribed and will definitely look into buying some songs or albums :)

What you called Orchestral DnB sounds like Liquid DnB to me, a light and smooth bassline with classics instruments such as Piano or Violin over an moderately-nervous drumline. But in your case, your style is far more Orchestral than usual Liquid. I would say that because your style is even lighter than Liquid, I would call it Aerial DnB, which is a pretty cool coincidence :) Also, keep doing DnB man, I'm begging you, you are really gifted. I do not listen to pony music since I'm not into the fandom anymore, but I still come on your channel sometimes, it reminds the why I loved this community, for making me discover awesome artists like you.

I think that Orchestral DnB has been done for some kind of boss battle in video games. At least that's what I think it is. Fast breakbeats with some heavy bass for tension and an orchestra section for the dramatic effect of the battle. Eh,I can't really remember it.

Well since you asked if I can think of anything similar, escala kinda does the same thing, though not full on dubstep-slash-orchestral, just strings and a back-beat with some electric guitar. It's not that similar at all but the idea of a modern use of orchestra has (slowly) been happening for a while, this is definitely advancement of that concept into the 2010s though. Doesn't make me any less of a fan though
