It doesn't matter about the expense. It's a drop in the bucket anyway. It's good for America as well as the rest of the free world to help them. You also need to be reminded (or informed) that literally dozens of countries are helping Ukraine. I don't think that many governments would throw money away if it wasn't a justifiable expenditure, and also one that they felt was doomed for failure. The world will not back down from Russian oppression. There's too much at risk to let Russia succeed.
