Rant: The Audi Le Mans Quattro should be given to us for story mode and NOT restrict it only to quick race mode. It would make much sense since Darius gave it to us when we beat him in story mode. Also the fate of our BMW in the beginning of the game is complete BS since it can survive gas station explosions but not road barriers. Like the Audi, it should be a reward for story mode rather than quick race mode.😤😤😤

Hey there! Great run. I did a similar test for lap times to find out which cars were faster than others just like you, but I chose to do Salazar Street (Circuit race in San Juan area) and each car was tested for 6 laps (each hot lap in Salazar Street is less than 1 minute for pretty much every car). I also chose manual transmission, but with hood cam (personal preference, helps me judge corners better). I also tuned each car with setups that I was comfortable with. Surprisingly, my ranking list is like 90% similar to yours. The only reasons for some differences in our lists that I can think of are: 1. Me using best of 6 laps, so more chances of getting the best time possible for each car. 2. I tuned engine for full horsepower, so I could reach even higher RPM redlines than a neutral engine setup. 3. I used stock transmission. Mainly because it kills a bit, or a lot of your acceleration depending on your car (better transmissions -> higher top speeds -> longer time to accelerate between gears). Also you would rather want more acceleration because you rarely exceed 300 kmph/186 mph because of the way race tracks are set up in the game. 4. I tuned suspension of each car to be as comfortable to corner as possible. Tbh for tuner cars like Evo, Mazdaspeed3, Skyline, etc. You can keep stock suspension because their handling is good enough and upgrading suspension always kills some of your acceleration. In general, (holds true for PC version) using understeer setups for exotics and oversteer setups for muscles is good enough. (PS - most of my suspension setups are from here: www.speedrun.com/nfsc/guide/re8ts) 5. I tuned each turbocharger/supercharger for full high RPM setup. Tbh, for a lot of tracks in this game having a tuning setup halfway between neutral and high RPM is better, as you rarely get to very high speeds. As a result, my ranking list has corvette and the carrera gt at #1 and #2 respectively while the Audi is at #3. The Evo is still the fastest tuner but at #12, Elise is fastest in tier 2, 240SX is fastest in tier 1 (ce, but Mazdaspeed3 was fastest for non-ce in my list). Hey there, Great to see people enjoying my content! Couple of things: My quick laps is also used with the hoodcam. Same like you it helps me judge corners better. But I use the close cam for the recording lap. That looks natural for the majority of the viewers. It's rarely the case that the fastest lap is achieved on the close cam. As for amount of laps, well I do as many as needed untill I think I can't do better unless 2 cars are like 0.01 seconds gap. But when the outcome of the ranking won't change, I won't try to get a better lap. As for tuning. I think that the majority of the people don't tune their car. When I do these tests I do it in a way that benefits the majority of the people. That's why I do these tests with untuned cars. That's why in Most Wanted, I didn't use Junkman parts. Because how often do you have a fully junked man car. That's why in Pro Street, I only use stage 3 performance upgrades rather then stage 4. Because how often do you have a fully stage 4 upgraded car. It's also to keep it fair between cars. I want the cars to be the same performance wise and tune wise. In Pro Street yes, I do tune the cars but I tune every car the same (except the drivetrain). But that is because otherwise some cars would be close to undrivable. As for the curcuit well I wanted a curcuit that has everything you want in a test curcuit. A straight, low speed corners, high speed corners, a braking point and a decent length. This was just the perfect one.

@Marcy2200 I see. I was looking for the fastest times I could get with each car. Hence I used the best setups I could've used. I believe anyone can still get better times than what I got; driver error is still a factor, and there are potential setups faster than what I used. I do play most wanted and prostreet; however I haven't done any testing other than a top speed test on prostreet I did by tuning trans for the longest gears possible, then having to increase the engine torque on VltEd. Meanwhile I guess I'll look forward to your future prostreet vids.

Best special car used by Darius. He has an excellent set of traits. However, it can be overtaken by either a muscle or a tuner. Wide 180 degree turn, Mitsubishi Lancer and Toyota Supra are viable.

Man, so this explains why it's so hard to beat Le mans quattro with Tier 3 exotics that has similar stats but slightly lower top speed. Also, even without maxed top speed stats the upper special cars are superior to most max tuned Tier 3 stock cars like M3 GTR or CCX (so inaccurate)...

i would say that the M3 *SHOULD* be Faster, i'm certain it could probably do a 55 or 56 second lap, but that just depends who drives it

If one can drive that M3 in 55 seconds then he would also be able to drive the R8 in 54 Seconds. Belive me I wanted the M3 to be the best but It simply isn't.

​@@Marcy2200 It did get nerfed in Carbon, compared to Most Wanted 2005. In Carbon, the M3 has a top speed of 200 MPH, while in Most Wanted it has a top speed of 242 MPH. In terms of acceleration and handling, the Most Wanted M3 is way better when compared to Carbon's version.

As for acceleration yes, the car was nerfed in this game, but i think this was done so that the Audi could be crowned as the best car in the Game. But even being nerfed, the M3 is still quicker and had better handling then most Tier 3 cars.
