Hi! I'm glad to see everyone enjoying this and appreciating the work of these guys. I uploaded the album because it's one of my greatest inspirations. I'm also a musician (drummer) and want to share with you my band. It's called La Mar, we play post-rock / post-metal and we've released two albums so far. You can listen our second album, released three months ago, at www.la-mar.bandcamp.com. Hope you guys enjoy it!

I am sitting in a coffee shop in nashville Tennessee, and I am hearing this album for the first time. I don’t know how to articulate this correctly, but I feel so lucky to still be able to stumble along something like this in my life where my entire existence is swept from under my feet instantly. It scares me that an album this good can all but disappear. For those who are curious, the band was a duo. The vocalist/guitarist became the vocalist of The End for their first album or two (another sad loss in the metal world; their album Elementary is so good). The drummer has been in Circle Takes the Square for several years now.

actually, you have this backwards: Tyler the singer (Semrick-Palmateer is his last name) was in The End from 2000 until maybe 2002, and only participated in their debut album. then he left to start mare in 2003-ish. the drummer Caleb began drumming for CTTS during the Decomposition sessions, and he's on Vol. 1.
