I've never seen somebody embody a drunk performance so brilliantly and so flawlessly in my life like Evan Peters did. He gave so many different nuances to it that felt so authentic. Not to mention his mannerisms and accent and expressions were so deeply accurate as well. Evan Peters, you completely deserve that Emmy and you are simply beyond PHENOMENAL!!!!

I think Evan is so insecure about himself as an actor and maybe that's the reason he's always trying to do something new in his scenes. It seems like he's never confident about what he is doing with his acting. Some people may think that's a weakness but I do think it's totally the opposite. That ''insecurity'' makes him a very creative and genuine actor, also he looks so real and natural on camera. It's so great that he's finally being recognized for it. He's amazing.

The craft the skill the experience and sheer magnitude of talent and generosity in her scenes with others is not so obvious. No neediness. Just a steady brilliant actor. She blows me away. I think Evan is brilliant in everything I've seen him in but I get the feeling that the reason he is so insecure is probably because there must have been a lot of projects he was up for but didn't get after auditioning. Cause it is a bit surprising to me that he hasn't landed a huge role other than AHS at this point. I'm sure he too expected more. He has the talent, charisma and fan base (from what I see) so I don't know why he doesn't get bigger roles

Could have something to do with it. He has joked about loosing out on a few big auditions, he was almost Petyr in The Hunger Games. It could also have something to do with the circumstances around how he came to Hollywood as a kid. The photographer who "discovered" him back in Michigan and basically arranged for him to move to LA is a guy called "bob lamb" a quick Google search should let you know why his closeness to Evan when Evan was a 14/15 year old is troubling. Hollywood is a murky place.

I assumed it was partly because he's starting to enter an awkward age where he can't play the same boyish roles anymore but doesn't look like a masculine leading man, either. His fanbase is mostly teenage girls so he isn't taken seriously as an adult actor. Sort of like late growing pains.

It actually gave me this experience of sympathising more with him I think, it just made it more sad. By the way, I watched the show mainly because Evan is in it, but I loved it for everything else too, it is excelent!
