@@kimmern999 I think it's more about the cost saving. When you have loads of buttons you have to produce or commission all the individual components from subcontractors. It's not that expensive, but with the amount of cars produced it's somewhere where they can make cost cuts to use touch surfaces instead where they only need to worry about software. This can also be marketed as "innovative" and "futuristic" in marketing material, it's a win win for the manufacturer.

I can understand "subscriptions", which clearly drive views and help drive the KZbin algorithm. But "notifications"? I don't get it. It's a monster KZbin has created. For me to remain relevant, I need a solid fanbase, as well as new viewers (hopefully future subscribers). I drove Audi A6 (C6) for many years and the location of center vents taught me quickly how to drive using left hand only. Now the same crap on Golf, very bad UX. The increase of the price of G8 vs G7.5 is significant, I guess lot of it comes from the (unneeded) mild hybrid, which you cannot opt out if you want DSG. @@electronicland7214 KIA Stonic is OK in terms of safety and practicality, but for similar money your could go bigger with the C4 Cactus - that's very comfortable with the hydraulic bump stops in the front suspension. However not as practical, as something on the lines of the VW T-Cross.

5.7 L / 100km is not so good fuel consumption after the 10% reduction . I thought it will be closer to 5L per 100 km to be honest . Im little disappointed . By the way you didnt talk about the price of the specific model you had on this video and it would be nice if you can tell . Thank you very much 😊

What would you like to know about the price beyond what I said in the video?

@@MarekDrives i think i missed the part you talked about the price , sorry

The only question that remains, how strong the battery radiation level in this mild Hybrid cars. Is it safe for kids to sit in the backseats , where the battery is located.

Probably not worse than mobile devices they are playing with all the time, TVs they are watching, etc.

Is it possible for you to review one of his biggest rivals, Ford Focus... I know it's almost 2y old model but as I can see you didn't review it. Now when new cars are stop coming out like cupcakes you could see with dealers to give you a spin. (personally looking for used one, maybe from start of new generation... it's a cheaper than someone would think and I'm wondering why is that)
@MarekDrives4 жыл бұрын
Nope. Ford Poland believes I only talk trash about their cars (which is not entirely true, but apparently anything less than being blinded by the excellence of their engineering is unsatisfactory), so they don't give me any press cars probably since the Fiesta 2-3 years ago. This is unlikely to change until they change the PR/Marketing head, so no Fords on this channel in the foreseeable future.

@@MarekDrives so we are stuck with British channels for reviews, same one that are comparing ford focus st-line (line, jesus) vs kia ceed entry level

4:53 Or if you want to be real, the features are already there but Volkswagen is simply offering paid DLC. VAG is the EA of cars now apparently.

Marek, when you talk about a suspension that irons bumps better than its predecessor, does this test car have a DCC or is it a regular suspension? Is there a car on the market in this class that is more comfortable or less intrusive for passengers than Golf 8?
