@@sinchrotron your machine is very dark, i think it will look much better with some bright colors - like green, gray, blue, or white. but it's your choice

Bro, you've mechanically done stuff to it, just wait till you get to electronics, you very well might have to retrofit something like Linux cnc, which means new servos, spindle drives, servo amps, tool changer macros etc, I wish you the best of luck with the control as fanuc stuff is NOT easy.

Beben For indusrtial machine I'll take An old Fanuc over linux or mach in a heartbeat. Not easy, well you have manuals and proper wiring diagrams to help you. Try to find a proper retrofit with any of those.

@@MJPilote Never retrofit an existing control unless absolutely necessary, i run fanucs, i think it may be required for him, however i dont know the state of the controller, he may have lost all parameters and such.

@@BebenX Let's hope he can use it. Parameters can be found from the manufacturer, I have received startup files and parameters for my machine along with service manual and parts diagrams just by requesting them.

@@MJPilote Yeah, they can but most of the time you can find them, at least for very old machines, i think its an excel machine, but im not sure that they're still in business so, he might not have any luck.
