I reckon you're right Jacks. It's getting harder to differentiate between genres these days. I don't think that's a bad thing. I think it's important to maintain diversity in your craft, particularly if you are a contemporary musician and are seeking a wider audience. To some extent though, it does make labeling and classifying music quite difficult. And don't worry mate, country songs are finding their way onto all formats of radio here in Australia, as are other forms of music now being played on country radio. This makes it hard to tell which station you are on, so I can fully sync with your comment. It's a top song though, regardless of how it is labeled or what genre the artist and listeners consider it to be.

The 80s Mercedes will never be topped. I've been driving the W123s and W126s for 27 years. These newer ones will NEVER be what Mercedes once was. They're just mass-producing and mass-marketing cars like every other car company today. And that's a sad shame. They threw their history and heritage of durability and longevity out the window years ago. The era of the "forever cars" is long gone. Mercedes nor anyone else will ever build a car that will go 752K miles like my old 300SD. No one. I have a W210, 2001 E320, but I'll never own a Mercedes any newer. I'm keeping these 80s cars alive. Back when MB knew how to build a car.
