I remember seeing her do an acoustic set in MD back in 2016 and really enjoyed it. I listened to her EP on the way home and nearly drove off the road when I heard 80s Mercedes for the first time. I’ve been hooked every since. Probably been to 5-6 of her shows in the DC area. Thrilled to see how far she’s come!

I WILL say, I'm a huge fan of Maren. Have been a fan of hers since before her stardom in 2000. I'm not a superstar by any means. Maren, however, is a voice and an idol to be recognized and appreciated. Pls don't judge her (or anyone's) voice based on your political beliefs. That just makes you weak and biased.

That's not factually accurate at all. There's a reason Bobby had to create a show called "Women Of iHeartCountry" to have more of women's songs played on country radio.

You need to do your research and gain some common sense before making such statements. Women in country music have to work twice as hard for recognition and to get a long last career. It has been known for decades. There are only a handful of women on country radio and the charts in comparison to men. It is a male domimated genre!! 🤔🤔🤔

@@BobbyBonesShow As a man I just can’t relate to what 99% of country women sing about which is why I don’t seek it out much. Now I’ll play Kasey Musgraves, Halsey and other rock/alternative all damn day though because they sing about more than wine and breakups.
