me and my mate were at a tiny gig upstairs at a pub - the Adelphi ! in Leeds in Oct 2007...Adele was playing to about 100 people. Before she went on we bumped into her by the fire escape and asked her what time she was on as we had a bus to catch ...as a joke !...she said she could go on earlier if we wanted ! that is how sweet and gorgeous and unstarry she is....and what a voice....I adore her.
