People who do not present themselves to the public in the course of their work cannot be so well known, whether male or female. That switch in the wrong position that Margaret refers to causing signal overloads to the AGC wasn't switched in the right position before landing as she states. It was discovered afterwards. Margaret's diagnostic software was able to communicate the overload error but mission control and the astronauts decided to successfully work through it all the way to the moon's surface.
