I know I'll be criticized for saying this, but I personally couldn't live with a husband if he was unfaithful. The only way I could ever consider it would be if I stepped out, too, because then you're on equal footing. The pain of imagining the person with someone else would be canceled out. For me. I’m sorry, I do not believe for one second Margaret had no clue. You can tell something happened within their marriage before it came out that Bill had cheated. Listening to Margaret saying that she didn’t know Jennifer never healed from Bill‘s infidelity- i find my self shouting at the screen “You’re a liar”. Now she’s pulling back because she's getting backlash from the viewers. Margaret knowingly told of Bill's infidelity and did not care one bit that it was going to hurt the children and it did. She’s mean and unhappy. Margaret told everyone about how she slept with her bosses to get ahead, about her infidelity, etc., etc. she told it all. It was fair game for anyone to bring it up. Bill's infidelity was not known to anyone until Margaret told everyone. Now she’s trying to back out of it. Too late! She always says, “everyone knew about it”, “everyone is talking about it” “it was out there for years”. No, it wasn’t- you’re the one who told.

Jennifer has trauma like any woman would have from the cheating, on another level the cheating while at her most vulnerable time while pregnant. I think the reason she stayed is also because she has such a traditional marriage within her culture arranged. Deloris and Teresa also can relate because they too were cheated on. Grace should be given but lines do need to be drawn on attacking others. On the same side, Margaret put her affair on blast and should respect that children are involved. Margaret being the other woman in many relationships will be a trigger just her existence within the group and how unashamedly she blasts her affairs. Oil and water.

However it wasn’t Margaret’s responsibility to disclose or bring up anyones dirty laundry. If Margaret doesn’t want anyone to think or look down on her affairs, she shouldn’t bring them up. Jennifer like so many women, Teresa included, have a tendency to strike out at people when they have been hurt or wronged. It’s not right as it’s misdirected anger. Just my 2 cents, I’m a first generation American from my mothers side. My grandparents had an arranged marriage…it’s a different lifestyle and family values. They would never have dreamed of getting a divorce, they also wouldn’t be on National TV airing anything. Jennifer is a doing many things that culturally are taboo. I am far removed and not considered by my mothers family as “one of them” I am and always have been an outsider but I can look at the cultural restrictions and feel for them.

The reality is Teresa said last year there was a rumor and there was. The rest of the season Jackie, Melissa and Margaret were saying how dare Teresa make up the rumor she didn't make it up- She did say it no doubt about that.. but didn't make it up.

This past episode, Bill said “Teresa started the rumors”. It apparently was a woman at the gym…Frank supposedly knew who this woman was, but Frank and Teresa used to work out. Idk if this story is real, or if it’s a woman that Teresa encouraged to tell a “tall tale”. And watching how Teresa moved last season, her “truth” seemed very fishy. I just don’t know. The more Evan and Jackie act the way they are, the more and more I believe he banged someone else. Who does he think he is telling his “friend” that his wife is a bad person? They’re cast on the housewives and regardless of what they deem fair and not fair Jackie chose, and continues to choose to be a part of it. Bill hasn’t ever been anything but a gentleman to the other ladies regardless of how they’ve treated his wife. Evan showed a nasty side of himself and I don’t see him winning me back over from that. I do feel bad for Jennifer having to relive this pain and everyone finding out. Yes there is blame on Marge for bringing it to light. However, it makes me deeply sad that when Jen is talking to Gabby she puts the full blame on Marge and none on Bill. Yes that is her father, but she I’m sure feels hurt and betrayed by her father’s actions also. Her whole world is turned upside down. Again, yes because Marge let the cat out of the bag. But the bottom line is this betrayal is because of her father. I’m sort of not here for teaching your children that if a man cheats than it’s your shame not theirs.
