Impeccable speaking from all three. How we have deteriorated in using the spoken word.

I could listen to their voices over and over, both have such clear, beautiful, nicely spoken voices, and such good manners, (as so many did back then), very sad to think how the English language has declined so much. I can't bear it when people finish a sentence with "do ya know wot i mean".

My college age sister took me (15) to see "Murder at the Gallop (1964)" I loved it when Miss Marple did the twist.

Thank you for sharing this interesting and charming interview. It`s wonderful to see the amount of respect Mrs. Rutherford and Mr. Davis had for each other. I wonder what their main motivation for marrying was, given that Mr. Davis was homosexual if I`m not mistaken.

I think it was mostly for companionship. They supported each other through hard times 😉
