It was the possession of status that replaced what she had thought she loved. It was a decision. When you choose wrongly for your life out of wrong intentions you can’t hide from that. We can lie to ourselves, but it always shows up somewhere. Behaviour, illnesses, the choices we make and the beliefs we hold are all shaped by the after effects of human interactions. I feel badly for Margaret, that she had a textbook downward spiral.

Also, there is this: Usually we expect that someone who WASN'T LOVED would descend into the life and decline that she did. But she WAS loved; by her father, The King, her mother, her sister, The Queen, by the country. She was loved. So lack of love was not the problem. Margaret was the problem. She was hell-bent on self-destruction, and who knows why? All we know is that SHE DID self-destruct. A life of privilege, of opportunity, of great love and potential, was wasted. That's it. It's not complicated. She was selfish, SPOILED, narcissistic. How else could her life end?

There was a photo of Margaret among the bric-a-brac that adorned the walls, and we got to talking about her. As it turned out, there was only two among us that she had not made a pass at. We can clearly see in this case the terrible damage of not setting limits since childhood, even more when you see the girl had a troublesome personality. She was a spoiled little monster who was allowed to mistreat everyone she believed to be “below” herself. She was already a tyrant when she was only a teenager. Neither her parents nor her sister, nor anybody else put limits to her nasty and whimsical behaviour, so then she couldn’t put any limits on herself whatsoever. Being second, third, fourth or whatever born is not a disgrace. It happens in almost any family. We must all find our purpose in life and devote it to something meaningful, but she was quite superficial and shallow, so she couldn’t find other purpose than parties and a life full of excess.

Townsend was merely an elongated crush and she enjoyed the attention and the media limelight that came with the gossip, she saw herself as a rockstar celebrity leaving the politics to her majesty the queen; and at times overshadowing the queen in the process. Knowing all too well that the establishment would always protect her for her wayward behaviour. She eventually chose a grand free lifestyle where she didn't have to work like everybody else. An opulent lifestyle full of self indulgence without paying a cent but paid the price in the end with her life.

Total nonsense Mona. The British royal family [CROWN] own one-sixth of the landmass of the entire world. The Royal family is estimated to be worth well over 30 trillion pounds and perhaps as high as 50 trillion. The people fund absolutely nothing. Taxes are paid for two principal reasons. Rent to the CROWN for the land they reside on, as th people do not actually own the land, unless the land is Fee Simple. Secondly, the people are held as surety for the debt of the Government. The Government has placed the people into bondage, commercial liens have been placed against the people and their labor has been contacted to the International Banking Cartel as surety for the debt. It is on this basis the Government can borrow capital funds aka commonly known as 'money' Which it is not anything other than 'Debt Instruments' It is a type of IOU. In return, the International bankers permit some of the collected ' income Taxes' to be used for Public services, such as health, Roads, Transport .. etc.. When the service has the word PUBLIC in front of it, then it is paid for entirely out of Tax Payers forced contribution. Unfortunately, the greater majority of people have never be told how the system operates, thus allowing for government double-dipping and making the people pay for something that has already been prepaid from their taxes. The people essentially being bonded slaves do not need to know what does not concern them. Should the masses of people discover the truth, there will be a revolution within a day.

In life, attitude is everything! Doesn't matter if you were born royal or dirt poor. Look at her, she had everything and the end was so sad. She loved only herself and wanted to be daddy s little princess forever. I think the last boyfriend broke her because she finally had to come to the conclusion that she could be rejected just like everyone else and her princess status won't insulate her from that. After that she didn't even bother trying because my guess is she thinks is too late. Did this person ever take care of anything else other than her desire? Didn't she have kids? Maybe a houseplant even? Such a difference to her older sister who selflessly gave her all as the queen for england, a mother for human and animal and humble nature. She had a vengeful streak too if her advances were spurned. In the mid 60s she was introduced to Alan Bates and, like most people, was smitten by his charm and jaw dropping good looks. She invited him to a private dinner at hers (he was going to be dessert) but he politely declined. For decades after that snub she stood in the way of him receiving any honour but he finally became ‘Sir Alan’ in 2003 ( the year after her death- coincidence?) He sadly didn’t enjoy his title for long succumbing to pancreatic cancer later that same year.

i just went and looked at reviews/synopsis on this documentary and it seems this is an edited version. It was developed from an autobiographical book which included a strong suggestion that after Townsend she had a 'relationship' with an American woman, Sharman Douglas who was a talent scout/recruiter for models/film industry - so she had the contacts therefore to populate the 'popsie parties'. Prince Andrew/Epstein nothing new to them therefore - just a way of life! Lord Glemcommer had the famous 'Peacock Party' on Mustique in 1986 which included the screening of porn films. Sharman Douglas was linked to Mountbatten's son for a while and old man Mountbatten was well known for his porn collection! Somehow, through marriage, Douglas was connected to Raine, Princess Diana's stepmother - so that explains a lot to me about Diana's later emotional difficulties. John Binden - famous for his large 'doodah' was a Richardson (south of the River) as was the set up hero in the fake kidnapping of Princess Ann. That sold some newspapers! They have been friends for a long time to have control of what gets into the public domain and what doesn't. I don't think Maxwell's backstory about being the only survivor of his family from the Holocaust is true - how very convenient that no one could confirm or deny - I think he was American/English - the origins of WW2. He was connected to M.I. services. Thugs in tiaras! Socialize with them - run a mile - well done Alan Bates!

“Do you know who you’re speaking to?!” “Yes, my wife.” “ Oh no you’re not ! You’re speaking to the sister of Queen Elizabeth !” What a VAIN-ass snob. No spouse could live with that.

What's interesting is maybe in this world they believe they are superior, but the Bible plainly says, God is not a respecter of persons. When they stand before God they will not have their money and jewels surrounding them. Those things will be left behind in this world. They will stand before Jesus naked with everything exposed. They will suddenly realize who the true royalty is!
