I grew up listening to and loving "Kol Nidrei" introduced to me by my father, more than 60 years ago in Taiwan, who owned an old 78-rpm record of this piece played by Pablo Casals. I have since enjoyed other interpretations, such as the one by Jacquelin du Pre. This one is unique because it is played with 6 other cellos. The performance is exquisite. I'd put this version alongside those by Casals and Jacquelin du Pre, just to name two. My heartfelt thanks.
