Also turn on the override shape and change the shape to circle. Make the radius higher. U will get much smoother shadows ☺️

Agh, I'll have to check. I never used max 2015. Don't you see it in the V-Ray Frame Buffer, on the bottom part, last button - Lens Effects? At least that's where it was in Max 2016
