When I lived in Thanet I found it hard to find work. During the summer I was a chef. During the winter it was harder to find work. Moving to London, work was a lot easier to come by.

Another stroll down memory lane. Spent a fair few quid in Dreamland. Impressive mural. Mindless 'street art' (graffiti) is a bane but if it could be like that........ Thanks for sharing.

I will never understand how the huge, ugly block of flats next to "Dreamland", Arlington House, built in the brutalist style, managed to get planning permission. It dominates the sky line and, in my opinion, Margate would be a much more pleasant place without it.
