I enjoyed I donot know tamil...my mother tongue..is telugu. She rendered super. I do not know actually how many carnatic vocalist in SOUTH AND NORTH. And also HINDUSTANI..ETC..K.NAGARAJ.HYD..PANNAGA SHAYAN. Can any body say which RAAGA..IS IT SAARANGAPATHY. Else any???PLEASE

For example, 'Sarasa sama, dhana, bheda, dhanda chatura......' in Kapi Narayanee Ragam is familiar to many Carnatic music rasikaas. But she makes it sound very fresh........... Listen to her Kalyana Vasantham in particular. Another familiar Ragam, but she makes it sound so unique and evocative.

Normally I listening most of all harikatha but something special "Bakthi Rasamaya" in Vishaka hari's which I noticed. my request can present in Hindi with carnatic touch. We have very little good Vidwan available in Hindi.

Such maturity at an young age. She was born in 1981, grew up in the 1990s as a young college girl in Chennai. The 1990s were the age of computers, mobile phones and relaxed morals. A good-looking girl of her generation may have wanted to drive around in a Cadilac in California !!! But she chose the high culture of Music, Samskrutham and the Art of Upanyasam. I think her Vairagyam is amazing.

Sangeetha upanyasam is good. But in this She concentrates more on Sangeetham than Upanyasam. No doubt her voice is good. But it appears she wants to compete with the leading musicians. If she restricts herself only at upanyasam in which she is good at with a little music the audience will be more benefited.

Namaste Sir, my Mother too feels the way you do (in general, not necessarily w.r.t this upanyasam). In this specific case, however, it appears to me that she meant to communicate the greatness of Carnatic Music (to the younger generation?) i.e. that every Keerthana has a lot of philosophical meaning; even swarams and sangathis have meanings - that they aren't just some general creativity gamakas or general permutations & combinations of swaras. Just my thought.
