Today they are one of the best..or are they "The Best"??! Their singing is so soothing and pleasant to the ears (n thereby mind too)... perfect blend of voice n application of North n south style notes where necessary! Though they don't pussess high pitched shrill voices used in film music... they are equally gifted for classical n lighter genres of music..

for those rasikas who cannot read Tamil script: Part-1 includes... Opening piece in Saaramati was superb. Followed by an excellent selection of kritis in the theme of "bala" (baby)... Balaganapatim in Hamsadhwani, Balambikaya in Kanada, konji konji vaa guhane balamurugane in Khamas, chinnanjeru kiliye kannamma in Ragamalikai, and a little bit of Ennei balamurali gaaname in Hamsanadi.

The invocation song sung at Global Investor meet is Great, with very lofty ideals about Industry DEvelopment, Meaningful Education, skill set develoment, arts development, poverty alination -- removal. But people at helm of affirs workinhg all aginst all these lofty ideals and very egoistic. That is the malady today's Indian politics. But on music front this is as usual another unique program from RAGA. Thanks a ton RAGA and Team.

Gaps while kriti is still being rendered is distasteful! Even in Part 2, reluctant cuts of violin pieces is not cool

RanjaniGayatri, Jayalalitha being an artiste herself, did not help the release of MADRAS CAFE, a film based on late PM Rajiv Gandhi's assassination when her political partners did not want the film to release. She even refused to see the film herself in her own house's theatre. Now everybody is seeing the film, by smuggling the CD Into their bedrooms, as Pakistanis see Indian films which are banned
