A very nice concert! Particularly enjoyed the Sisters' rendering of swaraprastharam in Sri Ranjani (Brochevarevare), and in Varamu ("Saga Varam Arulvai") and the kriti "Eppadi Manam Thunindhadho" in Husseini. Violinist Sri B V Raghavendra Rao, Mridanga vidwan Parupalli Sri Phalgun, and Kanjira vidwan Sri Purushothaman have provided outstanding accompaniment - always thoughtful and enhancing the overall concert experience. Excellent stage presence, great song selections, and a lot of variety in presentation. Very well done!! Thanks for sharing.

The synchronized throats are back at work 2014. Is rama great or rama namamu is great.? sahasra nama tat tulyam -- what ? rama nama varanna ne. rama is environment of sub.continent. north south east west ,puranas itihasas vedas every thing reverberates around rama. finally even raghava runs round around rama. in last year 2013 the subject to sisters was atma gyanamu, brahma gyanamu. as if they are separate. this year also rama raghava the bija akshar --ghav gains strength only as rama.. what is the difference. the sisters last year described rama as '' ANDAGADA SRI RAMA'' THIS YEAR HE HAS BECOME RAGHAV RAMA. SIMPLY SUPERB RENDITION. VERY TRADITIONAL ,FULL OF CARNATIC MUSIC WEIGHT,VERY APT. THE TOP IS HUSEIN A VERY DIFFICULT ONE TO HANDLE EVEN TO GREAT MUSICIANS(WALKING ON SWORD). THE SISTERS BROUGHT MELODY & PERFECTION.HOPE THEY KEEP ON SINGING TO THEIR GREAT GRAND CHILDREN ALSO BESIDES GREAT GRAND FATHERS LIKE ME.

the alapana of huseni itself is a testimony to their scholarship and maturity staring phrases were interesting as the sisters gave a feel of anandabhairavi but came to the fore the violin support was brilliant to say the least! what a short and sweet remember mukhari ,anandabhairavi,huseni are allied ragas huseni is a tough nut which should be handled with care and precision and the sisters handled it elan
