I've seen the characters frames, and I can tell you that while the other's move animation has about 26 frames, she only has about 13 or such. She still a Baddie tho

Imma believe you cuz i played them and theyre attacks feel way more heavy then most of the chars in the game. Its due to game balance why most of the chars have less frames, it so their moves arent too slow due to having way too many frames. But Dahlia and Umbrella(mostly while her hunger bar is full) is different, their attacks are supposed to be slow and heavy, that makes it so now the animators have WAY more space to work with to add much more frames.

also because it shows that new people have entered and the artistic direction too. (especially because skullgirls is no longer being influenced by alex ahad but by a more cartoonish one.) for example comparing the sprites of squigly and filia trapped in the umbrella bubble, it shows that the characters are more cartoonish and simple, too that squigly and filia seem younger compared to their normal sprites.

I was worried she would be as disgruntled looking as she is throughout most of the drawings of her in Skullgirls Mobile. I love it when villains smile like Dahlia. Makes them feel so evil, sinister, and creepy. Also, I love her lose animation, and her win animations’ different center-piece cakes and treats is such a cool idea. Thanks for making this video. Do we know anything about the rabbit girls that follow her around? If I had to guess hey're probably just hired muscle for the medicis that double time as "entertainers" or something and act as Dahlia's assistents and enforcer/slash bodyguards (not that she needs any of those most likely.) Another theory of mine, is that the reason why she has those girls pull out a table for her with a character specific dish meant for individual members of the cast, might be because after the fight, she intends to work out some sort of deal or exchange with the defeated character for some reason over dinner (maybe to try and recruit them to her Bunny Girl killsquad in terms of the girls?). You know, a display of power (beating them in a figh), followed by pleasantries (the specific dish made for each character). Classic mobster behavior if I've ever seen it.
