You did a great job of breaking down this fix. I really wish custom CSS wasn't needed for what shouldn't be an issue with the fluid engine platform. That much spacing should be adjustable without custom CSS imo.

I'm still struggling to get this to work =[ I tried the margin and plugging in the specific block id and I still have a huge space between text and an image.
