I was on fertility treatment until two weeks ago, that I got a diagnosis of Malt Lymphoma. Just waiting to lear more from CT scan . A biopsy from the eyelid was how I got diagnosed. I really like being able to hear other stories especially with these types of cancer, not much I can find on other people stories dealing with these types, the type I was diagnosed with is called cutaneous marginal zone B cell lymphoma, and from what I was told they believe it was secondary from Lymes I was diagnosed with around same time,it still confuses me at times, lol, but loved hearing your story greatly appreciate 🙏🏼and I’m gonna check out the other videos too:)

Gail, I too have Lyme disease since 2018 and have recently had a rash all over my body for months. Also Epstein Barr level is extremely high. From my research I am worried I have lymphoma. Any advice? Thanks!

@@pauladailey530 thank you for your reply, the main thing that stuck with me through my experience was how important it was to have a biopsy, I had got these some what small lumps, some of them kept growing larger and main way I would find them was from them itching,my family doctor at the time thought they were lipomas and said it’s nothing to worry about,no testing or anything was done, when I seen they were getting larger I just went to ER and they did a referral to see a surgeon to due a biopsy,I ended up having several done and had to see other doctors as well before a definite answer, but they knew that it was some type of lymphoma, from what I know personally from how I take it is that it’s rare

@@pauladailey530 sorry I accidentally posted before I was finished, lol,but I will definitely see if there’s some type way for you to get a biopsy, from how I take it that bloodwork don’t always give you all the answers, and that’s why it’s important for a biopsy, I would say, if you still have those rashes maybe to see if there’s a way they could biopsy them,I would ask the doctor to see if they can check and make sure,if I didn’t push for it I’m not sure where I would be now,I knew something was wrong but I would have never guessed lymphoma,i did research myself after diagnosis with Lymes and lymphoma once I found out, also when I was getting biopsies done, I also was seeing another Doctor who ended up testing for Lymes, and it was by coincidence they were found out at the same time, and it came back positive,Whats crazy is I was having problems for while and I was tested for Lymes several times and it was always negative until I had the lumps then it was positive,I wish you luck, hopefully there can be more research into this type of cancer especially and Lymes,I’ll be praying for you 🙏🏼and trust your gut if you feel something wrong is one of the biggest things I have learned in my experience with this as well, have a blessed day,if you have anymore questions let me know:)take care

My lymph glands and spleen shrunk after the monoclonal chemo yet a PET scan afterwards showed my bones (femur, pelvis ribs)) had lit up after treatment. The doc refrained from a biopsy as it would be quite invasive.

Does Kimberly have Instagram so that I can follow her progress? I'm in a similar situation at the moment and you only find a few people with similar cancers. I found the video very interesting.

It sounds like you’re describing a PET/CT since you’re talking about ingesting the contrast which is the CT part of the scan. Ordinarily when someone has what is described as a PET it consists of having a radioactive tracer or radionuclide injected IV without drinking a contrast.
