Beautiful garden! Look forward to seeing more. Chickens natural instinct is to scratch at dirt and mulch looking for food so if you don’t want them doing that then put a small fence up otherwise don’t get upset with them or scold them for doing what’s natural to them. They’re doing you a favor by controlling bugs. Your chicks and ducks are so cute!!

Can't believe this amazing transformation. I am sure it was a lot of hard work, but the payoff is incredible. I love the L shaped raised beds with the center focal point. Very nice design. WIll watch the journey as it unfolds.

It looks beautiful! Love the design…..what a transformation ❤️. FYI, put the mints in pots as they will take over the beds and even the gravel paths. They are garden thugs!

It looks wonderful. I would have at least laid out cardboard where you put the perennial beds first, to suppress the grass underneath - reduces weeding. Enjoy your new space - it is lovely. ❤

I love your garden and all the animals. I am amazed how well your property holds all of this. You did great! I put my ducks out on grass and they surely are hiding their eggs because they went from 5 a day to nothing but I am at a loss as to where.

Garden looks great. You will have so much yummy food. Have you thought about putting up a wooden fence around the garden it would give it more privacy and look more British. A pond for the ducks would be nice.

It looks so beautiful! What a great setup! Bolting is going to happen with greens and brassicas unless you're planting them during the Fall. Definitely better to go with seeds - I personally love Botanical Interest seed company, they're amazing! And I don't know if you know already, but rabbits are probably one of the best gardening companions - their litter is the best manure out there and they will love the leafy scraps (I know these things are true of chickens too, but I think rabbit litter is even better) - and you are going to need it! Probably my biggest learning curve with a raised bed gardening was how much material it took to keep the beds full! Adding your animal's litter will be super important along with layering in leaves and adding more mulch and compost periodically. Happy gardening 💕
