One wonders why Mr. Robinson is still WITH her. She obviously doesn't spare him from her attacks. I know some people say they have a love/hate relationship, but it seems like Mr. Robinson is in physical DANGER from Margret (also he has made a fair number of comments to the effect that it sounds like he really DOESN'T like her much. Either he's codependent to the point of masochism, or he's terrified of what Margret would do if he DID stand up to her. Also, beyond the question of how Rocky turned out so nice with two such awful parents, how did he even SURVIVE? Babies need a lot of care to make it, and Margret not only seems incapable of caring about anyone (except herself), she actively TORMENTS babies.

At one episode when he got sent to jail for attepting to use fbi techniques on gumball and darwin, Rocky picked his Father up from prison and they look like they we're having a Father and Son talk despite the fact Mr. Robinson was disappointed in Rockys choices in life he seems to have some form of care for Rocky.

their dynamic is that they fell in love with how much they hate eachother. so their marriage is just a constant battle of who hates who more while praying for the others downfall. its a giant masochistic game of say uncle and the first one that gets the divorce loses. both of them want out but are equally as stubborn to admit defeat on their own. thats why when gaylord got the marriage certificate and couldnt "accidentally" burn it after the first few attempts, margret just flat out helped him. because atleast by it getting destroyed from an external source, it voids the marriage ending in a draw.

I just remembered they have a son, that despite everything they stilll went through the work of creating/adopting(it sounds more wholesome if they create a Muppet) a son that barely has a single evil cotton in his body, while being just as Humble. Despite loving to hate eachothers, that love is the way they love, so intern they somehow set those diffefences apart to create something Beautiful. That detail changes alot for their stories.
