Tim How so? That uncontrolled step on the first pass would have gotten a tenth off anywhere else but Pauley. And she had a low chest on the last pass, so 9.85-9.875 was definitely more appropriate.

@@kojobaidoo4667 her chest wasn't low enough for a deduction . She didn't plant her heel into the floor on the first pass which can be a 0.05-0.1 deduction. Some judges would take it as a 0.05 and some as a 0.1 and that averages out to a 0.075 and she got a 0.075 deduction.

Tim It was slightly below horizontal which is easily cause for deduction. As for the step, it was one that I would have taken .1 for but .05 is barely understandable.

@@kojobaidoo4667 I would say that the judges this meet were more relaxed so the low chest wouldn't be a deduction but I understand how it could be a deduction. The first pass could be excused as a 0.05 deduction

Also, if you listen to newer announcements you'll see that they changed it and now call it the dip. They've researched and found that I was indeed correct.
