My wedding is on the 21st of January. The theme is wildflowers so I asked our guests to please wear pastel colors. I don’t think it’s too much to ask your guests to go within a color scheme, specially if you ask them with plenty of time in advance 🥰❤️ I’m so excited to see how everything comes out for your wedding!! 🥰❤️🙌🏽

If you go with the formal or semi formal attire, I think any colors would look great. Asking your guests to adhere to two requests (formal and a color scheme) might be too much for some. Having a more formal setting for the Puerto Rico wedding will make the older guests happy. For the Chicago wedding, a theme would be fun and totally different than the formal Puerto Rico one. Are you planning to wear the same dress for both weddings? If no, is the Chicago dress less traditional/formal? If you do a theme, will you wear theme attire too? Too many questions!!😅

I’ll have different dresses for each one, and the Puerto Rico dress will definitely be more traditional bridal, whereas Chicago will be a little more relaxed, if that makes sense!

I'm happy to see a Bachelor in Paradise engagement, ready to get married rather than breaking up. In my day, 1987, (still married 35 years,) we didn't have a "Destination Wedding." We were married in my Father's backyard, which I had always dreamed of doing. I'm sorry but I think I would never tell guests what you "preferred" them to wear. I was invited to a destination wedding last year, and they told you to wear a specific Hawaiian shirt (I guess they bought them,) and white pants (yes pants for everybody.) I thought the whole thing was ridiculous (talk about boring wedding photos.) Sorry, that's what I have to say. Hey Kenny, I was 27 in 1984!
