This is our version of the beautiful Mick Jagger song 'Party Doll' that we recorded some years ago. I was thrilled with the way Paul played the acoustic guitar on this one as it is exactly the feel for how I wanted to sing it. 👏 🙏 - A beautifully done ‘cover’ done by a classic ‘rock’ band! The soft, soothing vocals, the additional instrumental, and overall treatment with the video background! IMO it’s proof that ‘less is more’ at times. I 💕 this ‘new’ style of Maria’s singing just as much as I do the more ‘blues’ music from her earlier days. I never knew THIS song was initially written by Mick Jagger till I read the description, and being almost 70 now, thought I knew them ALL - now I’m curious enough to find and hear the Stone’s original.
