I am so glad it was benign. I have Cushings Disease and just had my pituitary tumor removed last week. Unfortunately my cortisol levels are higher than ever - so it seems to be a “failed” surgery. Next step, bilateral adrenalectomy. It’s not first choice for treatment but the only permanent cure available for Cushings Disease. I’m devastated. Mine isn’t cancer either but chronically elevated ACTH/cortisol for 17 years does a lot of damage to the body. I’m so over it!! Cushings Disease is wildly underdiagnosed and would love to see your show educate the public on it. I remained undiagnosed for nearly 17 years, and I first self diagnosed before my official diagnosis. Not acceptable.

I have dad 2 brain surgeries to remove a brain tumor. One at age 16 and the second surgery at 20. I'm almost 35 now and seizure free! I am so thankful to Jesus for giving me a chance in life after growing up with a brain tumor and seizures!!! Also I have been eating that way now for years! It has kept me in good shape and health!

We are lucky that the hair covers it up. But more and more surgeons are finding less invasive ways to remove tumours.

Thank you. I am 11 months into remission from Stage 4A Ductal Prostate Cancer when they found my meningioma. Just got a call from the tumor board. They recommend surgery. Not ready yet to get back in the saddle and fight another monster. I hope I can postpone the surgery for a bit...

Meningioma is outside the brain, in the membranes that line the inside of the skull.
